Orologio da parete Pinup – Pinup DIY Wall Clock

Ciao a tutti! Ultimamente lo stile pinup / rockabilly, sta andando tanto, soprattutto nella decorazione di cupcake shops, ma anche nelle case private. Ecco perchè ho deciso di realizzare un orologio da parete in stile pinup e se è anche di vostro gradimento, potrete realizzarlo con semplici steps.
Hello everyone! Lately the pinup / rockabilly style is going so much, especially in the decoration of cupcake shops, but also in private homes. That’s why I decided to make a pinup style wall clock and, if you liked it, you can do it with simple steps.

Tutto ciò che vi occorre è:
– una base in cartone pressato da 3mm di spessore
– una carta di rivestimento, io ho usato carta regalo opaca
– La stampa del mio modello che vi metto a disposizione qua sotto
– un meccanismo per orologio e le lancette

All you need is:
– a 3 mm thick pressed cardboard base
– a cover card, I used matte gift paper
– The printing of my model, which I make available here below
– a clock mechanism and hands

L’orologio vi richiederà davvero poco tempo per la realizzazione, si tratta infatti di ricavare la forma circolare nel cartone (io ho utilizzato un piatto di cui ho segnato il contorno sul cartone e poi ho tagliato con un seghetto alternativo), dopo di che la decorazione e il montaggio del meccanismo sono veloci.
The clock will take you very little time to realize, in fact, you get the circular shape in the cardboard (I used a plate that I marked the contour on the cardboard and then cut it with an alternative hammock), after which the Decoration and assembly of the mechanism are fast.

Come rivestimento ho utilizzato della semplice carta regalo, prima di tutto perchè non si tratta di una carta troppo fine, ma ha una consistenza che le permette di assorbire la colla senza fare pieghe; inoltre il disegno era irresistibile! In questi casi è necessario non lasciare bolle d’aria incastrate nella carta di rivestimento, per questo ho utilizzato un panno. Ho applicato dei numeri con un decoro fiorito, in modo che si intonassero al tema, partendo da quelli principali (12, 3, 6, 9) così da avere anche delle linee guida.

As a cover I used simple gift paper, first of all because it is not too fine paper but has a texture that allows it to absorb glue without folds; Furthermore the design was irresistible! In these cases it is necessary not to leave air bubbles embedded in the coating paper, so I used a cloth. I applied numbers with a floral decor, so they bowed to the theme, starting with the main ones (12, 3, 6, 9) so that they also had guidelines.

La fase successiva è stata quella di forare il centro, in modo da poter infilare il meccanismo. Visto che il cartone era spesso, non c’era per me altro modo che non quello di utilizzare un trapano con una punta larga, che facesse strada. Quindi ho potuto mettere le lancette, dopo averle naturalmente pitturate con uno smaldo per unghie, in modo che potessero abbinarsi al tutto.

The next step was to pierce the center so that the mechanism could be pushed. As the cardboard was often, there was no other way than to use a drill with a broad tip that would make way. So I could put my hands on, after having naturally painted them with a nail polish so that they could fit in with everything.
